PatrĂłn Tequila is a premium tequila producer that is based in Jalisco, Mexico. The company was founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley, with the aim of creating the world’s finest tequila. PatrĂłn Tequila is made using only the highest quality blue Weber agave, which is grown in the highlands of Jalisco. The agave is harvested by hand, and then roasted in traditional brick ovens before being crushed to extract the juice.
The juice is then fermented and distilled in small batches using a traditional copper pot still. The resulting tequila is then aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two months, which gives it its distinctive smooth and complex flavor. Patrón Tequila is available in several different varieties, including Silver, Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo.
