The elite tequila brand “Casamigos” was founded by famous actor George Clooney in collaboration with two close friends, Rend Gerber and Mike Meldman. For their tequila, they chose the appropriate name – “casa amigos” translated from Spanish means “house of friends”. Initially, the production of tequila was for them rather a hobby than a business, but the Kasamigos brand quickly gained popularity and recognition, becoming one of the leading in the US As a result, Diageo acquired the rights to it for a record $ 1 billion.
“Casamigos” Blanco is a young tequila, “rested” for about two months. It conquers with purity and ease of taste, in which Agave nuances are well felt. This tequila is made of blue agave grown on the Los Altos de Jalisco plateau, collected and processed by hand. Plant cores are baked for 72 hours in traditional brick kilns. For the fermentation of the drink, a special blend of yeast strains, created personally by the distiller, is used. This yeast provides a sophisticated and well-defined taste, which also opens up due to slow fermentation for 80 hours. Production of tequila “Kasamigos” Blanco ends with a classic double distillation.

Tequila Varieties
