Discover Wray & Nephew White 1.75L:

Wray & Nephew White is a premium white rum from Jamaica. It is made from a blend of pot and column still rums, aged for up to two years in oak barrels. The result is a smooth, light-bodied rum with a sweet, fruity aroma and a hint of spice. On the palate, it has a light, sweet flavor with notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering sweetness. Wray & Nephew White is perfect for sipping neat or in a variety of cocktails. Enjoy it in a classic Daiquiri or Mojito, or use it to add a unique flavor to your favorite rum-based drinks.

Producer Notes: J Wray & Nephew

J Wray & Nephew is a Jamaican drinks producer that has been in operation since 1825. The company was founded by John Wray and his brother Charles, who were both Scottish immigrants to Jamaica. Initially, the company focused on producing rum, which was a popular drink in Jamaica at the time. Over the years, J Wray & Nephew has expanded its product range to include other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

In addition to rum, J Wray & Nephew also produces a range of other alcoholic beverages, including vodka, gin, and liqueurs. One of their most popular liqueurs is Rum Cream, which is a blend of rum, cream, and spices. This sweet, creamy liqueur is often used in cocktails and is a favorite among Jamaicans and tourists alike.

J Wray & Nephew also produces a range of non-alcoholic beverages, including fruit juices and soft drinks. One of their most popular soft drinks is Ting, which is a carbonated grapefruit drink that is widely consumed in Jamaica and other Caribbean countries.

Rum Varieties

From the pirate life on the high seas to the paradise islands of the Caribbean, perhaps no other spirit evokes a story as romantic as Rum. Produced by the fermentation and distillation of molasses or freshly squeezed sugarcane juice, cachaça has an alcoholic content of 20% to more than 70% and comes in a range of shades from light to dark. The highest quality rum is normally produced in distillation stills and aged in wood, while the cheapest clear or "white" rum is produced in distillation stills and bottled without aging in barrels. Naturally, rum is the basis for tropical cocktails like Dakiri and Mojito.
