Volcan Tequila is a premium tequila producer that is based in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The company was founded in 2010 by a group of tequila enthusiasts who were passionate about creating a high-quality tequila that would stand out in the market. The name “Volcan” was chosen to represent the volcanic soil in which the agave plants used to make the tequila are grown.
Volcan Tequila is made using only the finest blue Weber agave plants, which are grown in the rich volcanic soil of the Jalisco highlands. The agave plants are harvested by hand and then slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens to bring out their natural sweetness. The cooked agave is then crushed to extract the juice, which is fermented and distilled to create the smooth and complex flavor of Volcan Tequila.
