Producer Notes: Patron
Patron is a premium tequila brand that was founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley. The company is based in Jalisco, Mexico, which is known for producing some of the best tequila in the world. Patron is committed to producing high-quality tequila using traditional methods and the finest ingredients.
Patron’s tequila is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave, which is grown in the highlands of Jalisco. The agave is harvested by hand and then roasted in traditional brick ovens for 79 hours. This slow-roasting process gives the tequila its unique flavor and aroma. After roasting, the agave is crushed and the juice is fermented for three days before being distilled in small batches.
Patron offers a range of tequilas, including Blanco, Reposado, Anejo, and Extra Anejo. Blanco is the purest form of tequila and is unaged, while Reposado is aged for at least two months in oak barrels. Anejo is aged for at least one year, and Extra Anejo is aged for at least three years. Each tequila has its own unique flavor profile, with Blanco being crisp and clean, Reposado being smooth and mellow, Anejo being rich and complex, and Extra Anejo being smooth and velvety.
In addition to its tequila, Patron also produces a range of other spirits, including Roca Patron, a line of artisanal tequilas made using a traditional tahona stone wheel, and Patron XO Cafe, a coffee-flavored liqueur made with Patron Silver tequila.
Patron is known for its high-quality tequila and has won numerous awards for its products. It is also a popular choice among celebrities and is often seen at high-end events and parties. Overall, Patron is a premium drinks producer that is committed to producing the finest tequila using traditional methods and the best ingredients.

Discover Assorted Liqueurs
Liqueurs are an alcoholic beverage made from distilled spirits and other ingredients including sugar, fruits, herbs, and spices. They are usually highly sweetened and un-aged beyond a resting time during manufacturing, if required, allowing their tastes to mix, and are often served with or after dessert.
Liquor, on the other hand, is sweet by nature, while liquor has a powerful taste that is everything from sweet. This word is really used to describe these sweetened spirits prepared with various tastes and extracts. One of the many reasons the two words are confused is because rum, brandy, and whiskey may all be used as a base spirit for liqueur. Liqueurs are liquors that have been sweetened and diluted. Liqueurs typically have an alcohol level of about 15% (compared to 40% in liqueurs), although they may reach up to 55%.
Liquors come in a variety of tastes, ranging from sweet and creamy to citrus-flavored and everything in between. Because many liqueurs are sweet and smooth, they may frequently be drunk without mixers or complex cocktail recipes.
