Patron is a premium tequila brand that was founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley. The company is based in Jalisco, Mexico, which is known for producing some of the best tequila in the world. Patron is committed to producing high-quality tequila using traditional methods and the finest ingredients.
Patron’s tequila is made from 100% Weber Blue Agave, which is grown in the highlands of Jalisco. The agave is harvested by hand and then roasted in traditional brick ovens for 79 hours. This slow-roasting process gives the tequila its unique flavor and aroma. After roasting, the agave is crushed and the juice is fermented for three days before being distilled in small batches.
Patron offers a range of tequilas, including Blanco, Reposado, Anejo, and Extra Anejo. Blanco is the purest form of tequila and is unaged, while Reposado is aged for at least two months in oak barrels. Anejo is aged for at least one year, and Extra Anejo is aged for at least three years. Each tequila has its own unique flavor profile, with Blanco being crisp and clean, Reposado being smooth and mellow, Anejo being rich and complex, and Extra Anejo being smooth and velvety.
