About the Producer: Marcarini
Marcarini is an Italian wine producer in the northwestern Piedmont wine region. The property specializes in the production of wines from the region's local grape varieties: Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Arneis and Moscato Bianco. The Markarini estate comprises 25 hectares (62 acres) of vineyards that cover the Langhe and Roero wine regions. One of the most famous of these is the 4.5-hectare Brunate Vineyard, which was founded in the 14th century. The vineyard is planted with Nebbiolo vines, which are located on the slopes facing south to southwest, at an altitude of about 300 m above sea level. The grapes grown on the Brunate site are the source of the Barolo Brunate wine grown in the same vineyard. Traditionally, Barolo wine is produced, which ages for about two years in oak barrels. Mararini makes two more Barolo wines: another Barolo wine from a vineyard of its 4 hectares (10 acres) of La Serra and Barolo Chinato vineyards. Margarini's portfolio of red wines also includes several Dolcetto d'Alba and Barbera d'Alba wines from its vineyards. well established vineyards in La Morra and Neville. In fact, the Boschi di Berri vineyard is more than a century old and was planted in Dolcetto in the second half of the 19th century. Marcarini also produces the semi-sweet sparkling wine Moscato d'Asti and the dry wine Roero Arneis.

Their store is branded differently than this website, but it’s the same shop. Very good range, plenty to choose from.
