J Rieger & Co is a drinks producer based in Kansas City, Missouri. The company was originally founded in 1887 by Jacob Rieger, a German immigrant who established a successful whiskey distillery in the heart of the city. However, the company was forced to close during Prohibition, and it remained dormant for nearly a century.

In 2014, a group of local entrepreneurs decided to revive the J Rieger & Co brand, with the goal of creating a new generation of premium spirits that would honor the company’s rich history.
