Hola Amigo Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml - Item Code: 08077
Bright sweet flavors and aromas of raspberry and freshly picked strawberries.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the most common grape in the New World. Cabs from Chile are elegant and well respected due to the complexity and variety of characteristics derived from the nuances that the Chilean landscape gives the grape. The thick skin leads to classically high tannins and strong red and black fruit characteristics on both the nose and palate. The grape comes from France and is one of the 5 original grapes of Bordeaux. The chemical compound in the grape gives it a special green pepper note.
This wine likes to be aged in oak. Chilean cabs are usually aged in American oak for 1-2 years, which gives them classic hints of vanilla, spice and tobacco.
What’s really fun about Chilean cabs is that you can get a wide range of flavors on the palate, depending on where in the country of origin. Take some time to get to know the differences that Chilean cabs offer.
