Discover Groth Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley:
Discover this Groth Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley and get it delivered to your door. Groth’s Sauvignon Blanc is a rich, nuanced, and reviving wine made from grapes grown in a variety of Napa Valley microclimates. The grapes from the warmer microclimates give the wine a luscious, robust melon/citrus flavor. Fruit from colder regions gives the wine a strong, sharp foundation that counteracts the luscious creaminess of “sur lie” maturing and gives it an intriguing vibrancy. This wine is like a bottle of sunlight. Awards: 92 points from Wine Enthusiast (2018 vintage)
Producer Notes: Groth Vineyards & Winery
Groth Vineyards & Winery is a family-owned and operated winery located in Oakville, Napa Valley, California. The winery was founded in 1982 by Dennis and Judy Groth, who were inspired by the beauty and potential of the Napa Valley region. Today, the winery is run by their son, Cameron, who continues to uphold the family’s commitment to producing high-quality wines.
Groth Vineyards & Winery is known for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, which is made from grapes grown in the Oakville AVA (American Viticultural Area). In addition to Cabernet Sauvignon, Groth Vineyards & Winery also produces a Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and a red blend called “Red Reserve.” The winery’s Chardonnay is fermented in French oak barrels and undergoes malolactic fermentation, resulting in a creamy and buttery wine with notes of apple and pear. The Sauvignon Blanc is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged on its lees, resulting in a crisp and refreshing wine with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. The Red Reserve is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, aged in French oak barrels for 22 months, resulting in a full-bodied wine with notes of black cherry, plum, and spice.
Groth Vineyards & Winery is committed to sustainable farming practices, using cover crops, composting, and natural pest control methods to maintain the health of their vineyards. The winery also uses solar power to generate electricity, reducing their carbon footprint and preserving the natural beauty of the Napa Valley.
Overall, Groth Vineyards & Winery is a renowned producer of high-quality wines, particularly their Cabernet Sauvignon. With a commitment to sustainability and a dedication to excellence, Groth Vineyards & Winery is a true gem of the Napa Valley.
