Cincoro Reposado is aged at our distillery 8-10 months in our underground cellar, allowing more interaction between the tequila and wood. Cooked agave, with hints of vanilla on the nose, are complimented by spices and dried fruits. On the palate, cooked agave, light vanilla and baking spices complement toasted oak in perfect proportion.
Producer Notes: Cincoro Tequila
Cincoro Tequila is a premium tequila producer that was founded in 2016 by five NBA team owners: Michael Jordan, Jeanie Buss, Wes Edens, Wyc Grousbeck, and Emilia Fazzalari. The name “Cincoro” is a combination of the Spanish word “cinco” (meaning “five”) and the Italian word “oro” (meaning “gold”), which represents the five founders and their commitment to producing a high-quality tequila.
Cincoro Tequila is made from 100% blue Weber agave, which is grown in the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The agave is harvested by hand and cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours before being crushed and fermented with natural yeast. The tequila is then double-distilled in copper pot stills and aged in American white oak barrels for up to 44 months.
Cincoro Tequila currently produces four different expressions: Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo. The Blanco is unaged and has a crisp, clean flavor with notes of citrus and agave. The Reposado is aged for 8-10 months and has a smooth, balanced flavor with hints of vanilla and caramel. The Añejo is aged for 24-28 months and has a rich, complex flavor with notes of oak, chocolate, and dried fruit. The Extra Añejo is aged for 40-44 months and has a deep, dark color and a bold, intense flavor with notes of tobacco, leather, and spice.
In addition to their tequila, Cincoro also produces a limited-edition mezcal called Cincoro Mezcal. This mezcal is made from 100% wild agave and is produced in small batches using traditional methods. It has a smoky, earthy flavor with notes of citrus and pepper.

Tequila Varieties
First produced in the 16th century, when Spanish conquerors ran out of cognac during their expedition to the New World, tequila is made by distilling the juice from the heart of a blue agave native to Jalisco, Mexico. Tequila comes in a variety of colors, from the transparent and unrestrained, known as Blanco, to the darkest aged in Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo vats. Popular as a main ingredient in refreshing margaritas, it is also commonly consumed pure or with the addition of lemon and salt.
