Casamigos is a premium tequila brand that was founded in 2013 by George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman. The brand was born out of the founders’ love for tequila and their desire to create a high-quality, smooth-tasting tequila that could be enjoyed by everyone.
Casamigos is made from 100% blue Weber agave, which is grown in the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico. The agave is slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, which gives the tequila its smooth and rich flavor. The tequila is then distilled twice and aged for 7-14 months in American white oak barrels, which gives it a subtle vanilla and caramel flavor.
