Arette Blanco Tequila - Item Code: 07742
Discover Arette Blanco Tequila:
Arette Blanco Tequila, a spirit distilled from the blue agave plant, is a prime example of traditional Mexican craftsmanship. Harvested from the rich volcanic soils of Jalisco, this particular tequila is unaged, offering a pure expression of the agave’s natural flavors. On the nose, Arette Blanco presents a bouquet that is both vibrant and nuanced. One might detect hints of citrus zest intertwined with earthy undertones—a testament to its terroir.
Upon tasting, there’s an immediate recognition of its smoothness—a characteristic achieved through meticulous distillation processes. The palate is greeted with a harmonious blend of sweet and peppery notes, indicative of well-cultivated agave piñas. The sweetness resembles cooked agave nectar while the spice hints at white pepper and perhaps even a touch of green chili—complexities that are savored by aficionados.
Producer Notes: Tequila Arette
Tequila Arette crafts their Blanco Tequila with a blend of tradition and excellence in the heart of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. This region is renowned for its rich volcanic soil, which is ideal for growing the blue agave plant—the essential ingredient in tequila. The Orendain family, with deep roots in tequilero heritage, oversees the production at the El Llano distillery, one of the oldest facilities in the area.
Arette Blanco Tequila is known for its pure and vibrant flavor profile. It’s unaged, meaning it goes straight from distillation to bottle without any time spent in oak barrels. This process allows the natural flavors of agave to shine through—think hints of citrus and a clean finish that’s both smooth and invigorating.

Tequila Varieties
First produced in the 16th century, when Spanish conquerors ran out of cognac during their expedition to the New World, tequila is made by distilling the juice from the heart of a blue agave native to Jalisco, Mexico. Tequila comes in a variety of colors, from the transparent and unrestrained, known as Blanco, to the darkest aged in Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo vats. Popular as a main ingredient in refreshing margaritas, it is also commonly consumed pure or with the addition of lemon and salt.
